Swedish Relaxation - Long smooth strokes, kneading, and circular movements on superficial layers of muscle using massage lotion or oil. Swedish massage therapy can be very gentle and relaxing. Relieves muscle tension, stimulates circulation, increases serotonin levels, improves muscle tone and promotes total mind and body relaxation.

Deep Tissue Massage - Deep tissue massage targets the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. The massage therapist uses slower strokes or friction techniques across the grain of the muscle. It is used for chronically tight or painful muscles, repetitive strain, postural problems, or recovery from injury. People often feel sore for one to two days after deep tissue massage.

Negative Pressure Massage - A therapeutic massage much the same as deep tissue that uses suction in place of pressure. This modality separates and pulls tissues apart; alleviating scar tissue and Myofascial pain among other ailments. Great for injury treatment, range of motion issues at almost any joint, arthritis, fibromyalgia, frozen shoulder, and much much more!

Injury Treatment Massage - Combination of deep tissue, Structural/Postural Integration, Myofacial release, Neuromuscular re-education and relaxation massage used to treat a specific injury caused by an auto accident or an on the job injury such as carpal tunnel or whiplash. Treatments may include the use of heat or ice packs, as well as passive and active stretching. Each session includes pre and post assessment. This modality can also be billed for PIP and L&I purposes.

Cupping/Negative Pressure Massage - We use specially designed suction cups to do the massage. The suction cups create a vacuum affect that stretches the muscles and separate the muscles fibers. This helps to break up scar tissue and adhesions, loosen stubborn muscles, decrease inflammation, increase range of motion, and decrease pain. Cupping also helps to remove unwanted toxins and stagnation left behind in tight over-used and injured muscles. It can help to strengthen underlying vessels and allows the practitioner to work much deeper with less discomfort to you the client. Cupping can be integrated into a traditional massage or done on its own. For more information please give us a call.

Non-Surgical Face Lifts - Using the Negative Pressure Massage technique, this modality lifts and strengthens the delicate skin of the face. Collagen production is increased which plumps fine lines, expression lines, and wrinkles. It will firm your skin and eliminate bags and puffiness around the eyes, chin, and jaws. Your face never looked or felt this refreshed. Helps with acne, Rosasea, and other skin conditions.

Pre-Natal Massage - In addition to the fact that massage during pregnancy just plain feels good, there are many other benefits for the mom-to-be and her baby, too. Massage actually reduces stress hormones in the body. Touch is vital to the mother's physical and emotional well-being as she adapts to her new body image. Reduces stress, promotes relaxation, and facilitates transitions through emotional support and physical nurturing. Reduces edema and blood pressure, relieve varicose veins, and increase blood and lymph circulation. Relieves stress on weight-bearing joints (ankles, low back, pelvis) Regardless of individual circumstances, a pregnant woman's body is challenged, changed and stressed in many ways. Massage gives special attention to the mother-to-be, which in turn nurtures the new life that grows within her.

Post-Natal (post-partum) Massage - Post-partum massage is designed to help restore your body to its pre-pregnancy condition and to address the stress of carrying and caring for a newborn. In the post-partum period, you may suffer from fatigue, soreness from overused birthing muscles, and may be in need of attention and pampering. Massage can help with both the physical and psychological recuperation process. Post-partum massage improves breastfeeding, reduces musculoskeletal tension and pain, increases time spent with baby, decreases post-partum depression, promotes recovery from cesarean birth- including healing of the incision, contributes to rehabilitation of abdominal skin, muscles and organs, facilitates post-partum emotional, physiological, and family adjustments, promotes structural realignment of the spine and pelvis, and reorganization of movement.

Infant Massage - Infant massage is wonderful in that it relaxes the infant through loving touch. This lessens tension, fussiness and irritability. Digestion is aided and this can provide relief of gas and colic. Massage is also a wonderful way to lessen stress for parent and baby. Infant massage enhances bonding because touch conveys nurturing and love, the essential ingredients for emotional and physical growth and well being. It aids in growth and development- studies have shown increased weight gain, and immune function. Parents become more aware of baby's nonverbal cues. One-on-one communication instills a message of love and security. Lastly it improves baby's sleep by teaching your infant to relax and release stress, sounder and longer sleep is often the end result.

Sport Massage- Whether before or after an event or game; sports massage can help to improve performance, prevent injuries, and heal injuries. Pre-game and event we use stretching, range of motion, and brisk movements to loosen joints and muscles and stimulate blood flow. Post-event we add deep strokes and re-balancing techniques to help heal injuries and help fix imbalances, improving future workouts and performance.

Hot Stone (additional $10 charge for add on services and additional $20 for a full session) - Hot stone massage can be one of the most deeply relaxing and therapeutic types of massage. Hot stones, are made of basalt, or volcanic rock, and hold heat extremely efficiently. In a hot stone massage, the therapist holds the heated stones in her hands and performs the strokes with the stones. The heat from the stones sinks deep into the muscles, relaxing even the most stubborn knots. Typically a 90 minute session using a combination of deep Swedish massage strokes and heated stones. If you have a stubborn muscle that refuses to relax, or your stress levels are making it difficult for you to sleep, hot stone massage may be the perfect choice for you.
